I architected and built a web app in Ruby on Rails that was built in 2007 and still runs today with small modifications. It handles a company database of approximately 900 K records, and features a live search with Sphinx, an external API and monthly import of new companies via an XML Api. The same solution is used by more than 50 % of Sweden's municipalities today.

http://devb.io/I architected, built and provided technical support for the largest guestbook service in Sweden, hosting more than 50 000 guestbooks. I implemented a payment service via SMS and credit card, and wrote most of the code in PHP with a MySQL backed.
